Having the opportunity to travel to Washington D.C. as a Prudential Spirit of Community Award recipient was indeed a once in a lifetime experience. I am so honored and humbled to have represented Washington State and Literacy for Love. At D.C. I was able to meet 102 other State Honorees and 10 International Honorees... hearing their stories has inspired me do greater things. I cannot thank NASSP and Prudential for allowing students like me with such an wonderful opportunity to grow as a person. The opportunity to share my story with Robin Roberts of Goodmoning America, Senator Patty Murray, Senator Maria Cantwell, and students all across the nation, and the world has left me hungry to do more.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SUPPORTED LITERACY FOR LOVE!
